IPC-Khabarovsk Refinery JSC
Khabarovsk Refinery is one of the backbone enterprises in the Russian Far East and a key asset to IPC with the annual installed refining capacity of 5 million tons. Petroleum products from the refinery are distributed by IPC’s marketing companies to consumers in the Khabarovsk and Primorye Territories, the Amur, Magadan and Kamchatka Regions, and exported to the China and other Asia-Pacific markets.
Today, Khabarovsk Refinery is a major taxpayer in the region with high-output production, over 1,500 employees, developed social facilities, and the footprint covering the whole district in the regional centre
Currently, the refinery is undergoing a full-scale revamping. The revamping programme has been agreed with the regional government and is viewed one of the priorities of the Khabarovsk Territory Social and Economic Development Strategy.
The refinery produces motor fuels and diesels compliant with the EURO-4 and EURO-5 international standards.
In 2014, the new hydroprocessing unit was put into operation. It includes the vacuum gas oil hydro cracker and diesel and kerosene hydro-treater, as well as hydrogen and sulphur vacuum distillation and support units. This large-scale upgrade allowed to switch to a 100% production of EURO-5 diesel fuels.
In 2015, the Company plans to complete the new visbreaker construction, the ESPO trunk pipeline tie-in, and the existing hydrotreater revamping at the reformer unit.
